Today has been a good day for the little man! They drained fluid via lumbar puncture (spinal tap). The idea is that the fluid under his scalp will drain back down into his skull. He has been discharged from Cook Children's and is being chauffeured home as I am typing this post! He and Dad will get to spend the weekend at home and sleep in their own beds - YES I'M JEALOUS! It will be a good weekend for them to just hang out together. Sunday morning we will find out the results from the culture of his cerebrospinal fluid to make sure nothing viral or bacterial is happening there.
Brady is in good spirits today and I'm sure will feel even better when he gets home!
Grams is on her way back to Fort Worth now that all is okay. She didn't want to leave us girls, but Papa was sure missing her and she'll be back in Houston on Wednesday for a business meeting so we'll see her very soon! She does spoil us when she's here fixing yummy meals and playing with the kids, just trying to take care of everyone. The girls sure did enjoy her being here as well and weren't to happy that she was leaving either!
It's quite in the apartment as the girls are napping and with Brady and Dad gone, it's a little down time for me! I miss them terribly and would rather them be here...oh wait...how about us all be there in Fort Worth! Soon!

It was hard to leave today and head back to FW. The trip was long with only thoughts of our brave grandson Brady and Andrea and the girls alone at the apartment waiting patiently for Brady and Dad to come home. Aunt Marcey will be there soon to help out, miss you and see you Wednesday.

Praise the Lord! What good news about that little fella. I'm sure they will enjoy being at home, but will miss you gals, too. All-in-all, a good day, eh?!
God Bless~~

I was so grateful Larry let me come stay with him and Brady while he waited for his procedure. It was a long wait but he did great. He was going to get a new bear to add to his Cowboy Bear. He kept saying, I'm all done now lets go get my bear. He is a joy to my life and such a tough little fellow.
